DRV8825PWPR Overview

DRV8825PWPR is the HTSSOP-28 (PWP) tape-and-reel orderable of TI's DRV8825 stepper motor driver. Two N-channel H-bridges and a built-in microstepping indexer let a simple STEP/DIR interface drive a bipolar stepper from 8.2 V to 45 V, up to 2.5 A per output at 24 V and 25 °C with proper heat sinking. Microstepping goes from full step to 1/32 step with slow, fast or mixed decay. It adds a 3.3 V reference output, nSLEEP, and overcurrent, thermal and undervoltage protection with an nFAULT pin. TI lists the orderable as Active.
